OK, so everybody (and their mum) does a chess set. I thought I'd go a bit different and make the very seldom seen round chess board. It's a 100% official Chess Federation board. I've played it a few times and it's a very interesting game, some of your best pieces become limited and others become very powerful. I made one from an old dart board.
The image shows how to set up the board. The inner pieces are from outer to inner: Castle, Knight, Bishop and then King and Queen as usual on her own colour.

Just print 4 of them out. I printed mine on very heavy duty white coated paper and stuck it on an old dart board. I cut out the middle (easy to do as a dart board is rolled paper, just take out the bullseye and start to unravel, the outer area I painted over.
